Marty Collier, Housing Coordinator
Marty Collier has worked for 35 years with housing and community development organizations at the local, national and international levels. One of the 1st full-time, paid directors of Metro Fair Housing Services, Marty helped to coordinate teams of testers and lawyers around Atlanta and north Georgia to enforce the Fair Housing law shortly after it had been passed. Currently she assists the Statewide Independent Living Council of Georgia to educate and advocate for increased accessibility and affordability in housing throughout the state. Marty lives with her husband in East Lake Commons in Decatur, Georgia where she is active in local civic organizations, community networks and St. Timothy United Methodist Church.
Sukie Glick, Social Media Intern
A resident of Atlanta, Georgia for just over three years, Sukie is now the Social Media intern with the Statewide Independent Living Council of Georgia. Although born with Arthrogryposis, Sukie only began advocacy and peer support in the disability and independent living movement, at the age of 18, with the FL Independent Living Council’s Youth Senate. From there, he went on to be a part of the development and progression of the Youth Advisory Committee. In 2014, Sukie was hired to be the Youth Specialist and Social Media Specialist, with disABILITY LINK. This is not the first time Sukie has worked with a Center for Independent Living. He was an advocate and case manager for the Center in Daytona Beach, FL, in 2010. In addition to the title with disABILITY LINK, Sukie was the co-chair on the Association of Programs for Rural Independent Living Youth Steering Committee, the 2014 NCIL Diana Vietz award recipient, and an active member on the National Council on Independent Living Youth Caucus.
Rebecca Ramage-Tuttle, Assistant Director
Becky Ramage-Tuttle is the assistant director at the SILC. Along with having a life-long disability, she has been active in the Independent Living Movement for over 25 years – 17 of those in Georgia. Becky received her Master’s Degree in Rehabilitation Administration from DePaul University. She lives in the eclectic town of Decatur with her husband, George and her canine, Annamae.
